We don’t take ourselves too seriously and hope that you won’t either. At Om Studios we are all about having fun and creating an uplifting community. We do our very best to make our space accessible and welcoming to all.
Every week we welcome people who are absolutely brand new to yoga and group yoga classes. We completely understand how starting something new can be intimidating, especially if you don’t really know what to expect in your first class. But don’t worry! Although yoga can be challenging, it really isn’t about doing the poses “perfectly.”
Our teachers are there as guides, but it’s up to you to listen to your body and practice at your own pace and comfort level. We look forward to lots of laughs and down dogs together.

Allison believes that yoga is so powerful it can help shift major patterns in our lives that may be physical, emotional or even mental. Allison found yoga because she needed a workout that wasn’t as intense as running or HIT, and she continued to practice because it helped her heal her own chronic anxiety and stress.
Allison’s classes are anatomically sequenced to warm your body and mind so you feel “the work” throughout class and then (her favorite part) is leading you through the “chill out and relax” part of class before you end in your juicy savasana.
In 2019, Allison graduated from Om Studios with her 200HR certificate under Lynn Cordell and Kiara McBain. A year later, Allison started her 300HR yoga teacher training and incorporates the aspects of yoga she is passionate about in her teaching such as: anatomy and physiology and somatics and the energetic body. When she isn’t teaching public classes from Om Studios, Allison owns her own business and teaches private clients and private semi-groups. For more information visit: www.allisonleyoga.com.

For as long as she can remember, Autumn has been dancing. She took her first barre class four years ago to help tone and strengthen her whole body and immediately fell in love. After seeing her body build lean muscles from the small isometric movements, cardio, and strength training, she knew she wanted to share her passion for fitness and dance with others. In 2017, she received her certification to teach barre from the International Ballet Barre Fitness Association (IBBFA) and tailors her classes to be fun and upbeat, with various challenges added in to make sure you feel the burn.
Lynn believes that life is loud! It can be easy to miss the messages from within because of all the input and activity in the day. Through over 15 years of practice, Lynn feels yoga teaches students how to get quieter regardless of the volume and chaos around them.
Through sharing the yoga practice, she encourages a curious heart and an inquiring mind in her students. Lynn aims to make class inspiring, exhausting, and full of fun. She encourages Svadhyaya (self study) in students to humbly push their daily limits and then reside in contentment. She is known for mixing her thoughtful class sequences, yoga philosophies and eclectic music delivering each class as a one-of-a-kind experience. Lynn blends alignment, anatomy, and energy in her cues so each student can find the shape of the poses that best suits the individual. Through the challenges in class, students can begin to see past their immediate reactions and uncover compassion for the self. Lynn encourages her students to listen to themselves and gracefully ride the ebbs and flow in life with a sense of humor and a light heart.
Lynn has been teaching yoga for over 13 years in the Midwest. She loves an eclectic practice balancing the energy of hot, sweaty vinyasa flow with the grounding of a slow, cool yin class. Lynn has had the privilege of training and mentoring yoga teachers for the last 6 years and is honored to co-lead Satyam Teacher Training at Om Oasis.

“I came to Pilates through somewhat unusual circumstances. Following brain & spinal surgery in 2006, I spent most of my Physical Therapy sessions on the Pilates Reformer. The experience was transformative! Upgrading my functional movement patterns & developing a more mindful approach to my physical fitness has since increased my stamina, heightened my lifestyle consciousness & left me stronger than ever."
Marie personally understands how compromising physical injuries can be especially for athletes. "Active people don't want to stop doing what they enjoy, they want to keep moving. My goal is to get people back to doing what they love & loving what they do even more, while fine tuning their movement skill set."
Over the years, she has logged thousands of miles as an accomplished marathoner & half-marathoner, & is personally familiar with the toll sports can take on a body. "Having a deep knowledge of the Pilates method then would have prevented many of my poor movement patterns & subsequent injuries."
The life altering benefits of Pilates came in the most unexpected way. In 2006, her daughter (Haley) was recovering from a serious surgery. Under the care of a cutting-edge Physical Therapy group, the Pilates reformer was used as part of Haley's rehabilitation. "My immense gratitude for the help the Pilates method offered Haley then guided me on this most rewarding career path; learning to teach others to move, feel, & perform better in their own bodies. I see myself as a solutions provider for whole-body wellness."
Marie is trained through the internationally recognized organization of Balanced Body as a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor & is also a Pre/Postnatal Pilates Specialist through The Center for Women's Fitness. Her earlier career path comprises over two decades in healthcare, specializing primarily in cardiovascular care.
